NEWBUILDING, REBUILDING AND REPAIR IN ENCLOSED SLIPWAY
Our main activity is building new fishing vessels for the coastal and ocean fleet. As of recently our yard also specializes in designing and building live fish carriers for the fish farming industry. Our yard offers newbuilding, rebuilding and services, etc., for nearly all types of vessels up to 100 metres length, in our enclosed slipway covering an area of 68x24 metres and with a 27 metre height free under cranes. The hall is well equipped, including two cranes lifting payloads up to 35 tonnes.Aas Mek. Verksted A/S is a modern and efficient shipyard with operations and engineering departments, workshops for steel and aluminium constructions, piping, internal work, electrical installation and a floating dock and covered slipway for outfitting and repair work.
Our highly skilled workers have long shipbuilding experience, as reflected in the high standard and first rate quality of our newbuilding and repair work. The yard follows a special, selfdeveloped quality assurance programme for all projects, ensuring maximal quality and reliability of vessels.
